For the second time like....
So, I discovered that after 10 years of use the spiral staircase to me basement (Minema & Office) was in need of repair and refurbishment...
A couple of the steps had never been fixed properly (
) and one of the ties that hold it to the wall had broken (
)... so the plan is...
Remove all steps and replace with temporary
Refix the tie to the wall and weld to the frame
Strip the frame and re-paint
Strip the steps and re-varnish
Fit anti-slip strips to steps
Re-assemble
What could possible go wrong like...?
