Told you to have more faith in ParliamentDavid Cameron loses Commons vote on Syria actionWhat a fool. A true statesman never overreaches and then has to retreat. And Cameron was in retreat when he opened up the debate. I liked Cameron, he did much good but a busted flush is always beyond repair and he looks a very busted flush right now.

What would you consider a suitable number of votes for and against to represent the views of just over half the population?285 against out of 557 sounds like just over half to me, or am I missing something?
Parliament did the right thing and seems all you can do is condemn it

I don't think the voting farce and Miliband's flip-flopping between supporting military action then being against it should fill us with confidence that the country is in safe hands...
