Anyhoo back on topic...

So after the backlash about MP's sitting for taxpayer funded portraits Septic Clegg, no I'm sorry 'the house of commons', has decided that he deserves one as well. One question, just what in the name of holy hell have you done since making it into office to earn the right to one of these portraits. Hmm lets see, what have you been responsible for that has been a benefit to the UK...

... Nope I can't think of a single fucking thing. You want a portrait that represents everything that you have done for us? Stick a photograph on the front of a dartboard you 2 faced mealy mouthed gobshite!! As much as I can't stand Harriet Harman at least she pulled out of having her portrait done when she was chosen as 'it wasn't appropriate'. cussing:

Oooh, errrrr, is it catching?

Well, someone had to say it!

Not sure, are any of you getting more grumpy than normal?  rubschin:

So the foreign aid we send helps prevent global warming does it? How? Does it go towards developing an environmentally friendly space program? Has North Korea managed to clean up their pollution? Even if your argument had any merit its academic at the moment as there are thousands of people who have been affected by the floods that need access to gubberment funds and resources NOW which your colleages are grudgingly handing out. Here's a thought Eric, get off your fat pie munching arse and actually visit some of the communities that have been flooded instead of making inane comments from the safety of your office. If nothing else you could be a flood barrier or a float to get people to safety because you are obviously doing fuck all about getting the money needed to help these communities that your portfolio is responsible for.

The man in the street gets capped on how much they can buy.

Favours?  rubschin:

Wrong thread - the tax payer has been repaid,  the profits are the same per share whether you have 100 shares or 100,000 shares.

Not sold on the cheap then and allowing the tax payer more in return for their original investment when the shares made 38% on day one? Those that were allowed to buy more made the same percentage return (excluding trading fees), but on a massive scale. Considering it was 'owned' by the public why did they have a cap on their entitlement?  rubschin:

Yep

And if it isn't claim the difference against taxable income and if you're on 40% tax the HMRC give you 2/3 of what you paid extra back.  I occasionally used to tell my employers when they tried to enforce standard class that if they wanted me to travel in my own time and work on the train then guess which class they'd be paying for.

You get to sit next to a better class of train fare dodger in First Class

Well, whatever, nevermind

You may want to brace yourself BM because this is starting to sound like a bad Barclaycard advert...

Breast enlargement on the NHS £4800
Botox treatment on the NHS £1500
Taxis because 'you are hated because the taxpayer paid for your enlargement' £6000 a year
Counselling on the NHS because you've been 'so traumatized' by the backlash
Apparently going to get £2500 worth of dental work done as you are pregnant (again funded by the taxpayer)
And now you will try to give up smoking as long as we pay for it?

Your attitude to taking the taxpayer for a ride.....................priceless.  cussing:

You claimed that you were making £1500 a night as an escort before getting pregnant from one of your punters so you can bloody well pay for it yourself. There are people who have a genuine need for treatment that have been turned away because people (and I use that description about as loosely as I can) like you have decided that their cosmetic wants are more important.

I had the misfortune of meeting your idol years ago and as little time as I have for her I'm petty sure that even she would look on you with nothing more than complete disgust.
