So clearly dead before the start date ...... Sorry chaps.
I know it is not quite the thing to quote one's own quotes but reading the Obit reminded me of a game Woodstock and I used to play back in the days before www and instant news .... ie when we used to buy a daily paper (Always The Telegraph and on Sundays The Times as well.)
We called it "Why would you do that to your children?"
The object was to find the silliest names that people gave their kids as announced in the "Hatched, Matched and Dispatched" columns.
EG Colonel and Mrs Snodsbury-Grimes are pleased to announce the engagement of their Daughter Honoria to the Hon Digsby Von Trap
OR The Hon Digsby Von Trap and Lady Honoria are pleased to announce the birth of a daughter Pixie Chrysanthemum, a sister for Hugo and Tobias.
So there's our next game folks!
And from the obit quoted I give you "Why would you call your kids ....... Nelson, Pandora and Waldorf???
I suggest we start the new game when the current CDB and Footy Challenge finish.
Roolz:
1) Must be genuine announcements from the Times, Telegraph, Grauniad and Independent with linky as proof.
2) Silliest name to be decided by ballot after 4 weeks.
