Brought 'The Beast'  cloud9: home for a nice warm and cosy bath yesterday, and did a trial fitting  in her new nest to see if she'd fit.

Bloody tight squeeze  about sums it up, but I think once I shift and sort all the rest of me shite out in the other garage to make more room , it'll be ok.

I luv driving here you know. cloud9:

Instead of all the usuaual shite you get on the road, aggression, impatience and fingers, you get smiles, waves, thumbs up, open mouths and courtesy.

Whilst bathing her on the path, 2 sheeples stopped to talk to me and discuss their affection and memories for the model.
1 geezer even blocked the road as he stopped to gawp, and then woumnd his window down to share his delight at seeing this fine example. lol:

T'is indeed a birof an attention grabber....mainly for the blokes mind. ::)

For deffo. I often stop and chat to people with Classic cars and Growler is spot-on, generally mostly smile, wave and give you room. Coming home from work on Friday I passed an old chap in a lovely '68/69 Aston DB6  cloud9:

Seriously, you really must capture as much as poss, for posterity. Piccies and vids and sound.

Some of us in here are actually well proud of your achievment, tellin' you.

It's all well and good havin' a really nice classic, but if you've built it from a bin to a minter YOURSELF, well that's a completely different thing imo.

Sheeples congratulate me about 'The Beast, but i ALWAYS ALWAYS make a point of, and tell them that I bought it like it is, and I'm merely maintaining its fine condition and looks.

It'll be a bit different with MoMo though, as she does need some fettlin', which I shall do on a gradual basis over the coming months and years even p'raps.

Don't tell Mrs G whatever you do like, but I'm actually  quietly considering a classic van for me werk now too. lol:

I know, that's what i was thinking,. Free road tax on pre 1971 too instead of the rip of £220 p.a. on new vans now. evil:

Just got to be sure on the reliabilty stakes, and the right make and model too.
Fuel consumptiion is very important consideration, as I can do quite a few miles some weeks. rubschin:
