Went home from work the night of Tuesday 12th April, feeling lousy.

9 days followed of sleeping 20+ hrs a day, waking just to have a few cups of tea and necking ibuprofen to alleviate the pains in my joints and muscles.

Couldn't really give a shiny shite if it was Covid, or the flu, treatment would be the same. Go to bed, get up again when everything stops aching. 9 days without a beer or ciggie  eeek:

My brother's other half works in a hospital - she asked if I had really bad pain in my neck and shoulders, which I did. "Could be Meningitis". So that was nice.

So maybe not so caustic anymore of those staff that had time off for Covid?

The difference being I knew I was under par and took to my sick bed. Many at work were testing themselves every day in the hope they'd test positive to get time off, regardless of how they actually felt.
