18 months as a student nurse hearing rabid wimmin ranting about their other halves skiving off with man flu did it for me. The closest I'd come would be to work from home.  angel1

Got it here too, and young G jnr has been particulary badly infected.
His coughing at night is actually quite scary tbh.
Told him several times over the last 10 days to stay off work , but will he? noooo:

'Ave a well meaning and understanding man 'ug from me anyway. happy100

It is actually shite in'it? sad32:

I was just starting to brag to everyone how I''d seemingly managed to swerve away from all the usual winter bugs this time, and the first time ever too iirc, but no, oh bastard NO. Banghead

Young G Jnr is to blame, probably infected 2 weeks ago from one of his passengers sneezing and snorting all over him.
He's fully aware of this, and cleans his hands with that anti bacterial gel dozens of times every day, seemingly to no avail. Banghead
Told him he was wasting his time like. If the microscopic  filth and shite blows your way and you breathe it in, you've got it, simple as.

Now MM has gorrit with a throat and chest infection to keep it company too.
G jnr on his day off is curled up in a ball in front of the fire, still in his jimjams  eeek:

I feel like a overflowing bag of pure 100% shite after foolishly thinking I was feeling a bit betterer this morning.
loads of werk to do, typically, but i just physically couldn't carry on after 3.
Just had a lie down, nodded off briefly only to be awoken unable to breathe and choking on pure luvlee thick snot. sick2:

Luvlee! cloud9: noooo:

Of course, the so so wonderful big 'eaded uninfected Mrs G wonders what all the fuss is about. ::)

Poor MM has gone very quiet, never a good sign, gone to bed hours ago, and doesn't want any lights on which is slightly worrying, and her coughing sounds painful and strained.

Meanwhile, poor young G jnr continues barking away continuosly.
2 bastard weeks of this now, Banghead  but give him credit, he doesn't moan about it that much.

You been in touch with the quackters, especially with the owld asthma kicking in?

Young G Jnr has just rung for an appointment for 10.
Probably be told the ususal shite....drink lots of water, take paracetomol. plenty of rest, keep warm no better in 2 weeks come back.

Oh really?
Well knock me down. Shocked:
Thanks for that quack, as i was sssso seriously considering going on a water free diet,  non stop wild partying for 2 weeks, in the buff down in the Arctic.
