So, the bastard is dead.
« on: August 03, 2007, 01:08:41 PM »
The evil scumbag that tried to kill and maim possibly hundreds at Glasgow airport 4 weeks ago.
I've got mixed emotions about how this has panned out
On the one hand, the breath wasting bastard is now dead, thank f, but on the other, he's no longer suffering whch seems like total injustice to me.
Could be worse I suppose. I could end up having this kind of feeling, as just dragged out of an ongoing discussion on the aol news forum:

> I think they should have let him die at the time, not burden the nhs and the
>taxpayers with his medical expenses. This government is way to soft. They will
>never learn

By not attempting to save him, no matter what he did, no matter what his intentions, aren't we descending to their level?

This man was in pain and needed medical help. He was a human being and this is still a civilised country.

Give me fckin' strength. Angry9:

I completely agree with the above sentiments. Once he was in a position to do no harm then caring for him is the civilised thing to do it.

If we cede the moral high ground then we are no better than them.

Is there a "Best Before" date for Martyrs?

Could we in fact have been very clever and kept him alive long enough for his "seven Virgins" voucher from the Immam to have expired?

Allah: "Sorry mate, this was only valid to the end of July"

Its the media coverage over this that gets to me. 'Suspected' terrorist and 'alleged' terror attack. For crying out loud they loaded up a range rover with petrol and gas cannisters and rammed it at speed into the entrance of the airport. Its not as if it was a boot full or random items that caught fire when they accidentally bumped into the wall. Plus I'm pretty sure that shouting Allah and fighting off people who were trying to put him out is an obvious giveaway.
The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

I feel sorry for the poor buggers who had to look after him, I don't think I could have done it.

I would have tended to his wounds with salt, vinegar and wire wool.

I think these remarks are becoming rather inflammatory.

Y'all seem to be getting fired up about it.

I'd really rather they were rare though, wouldn't you?
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!
