Anyway I guess she's a smart cookie.  Tinterweb says that much much improved manifesto was her doing.  I still see Carswell as the real deal in UKIP but we'll see.

But she is an wumman.... that counts for a lot these days...

I'd bet €100 to a bucket of piss that the next Labour leader will be an wumman...

Yay!
Just shows the lack of depth at the UKIP top.   Their one true heavyweight (Carswell) has said he doesn't want the leadership (there have been rumours of him quitting UKIP) so what option did UKIP have?

This U turn by Farage says nothing bad about him but there is a bitter realpolitik to consider.  Never give someone a chance to lose a second general election.   It rarely ends in smiles.
