Council Tax Bill just arrived.

Rubbish collected once a fortnight, 5 libraries closed, mobile library cut completely, pot holes all over the roads, grass verges only cut twice a year, police numbers cut to the extent that we only ever see a copper once in a blue moon, bus services reduced, swimming pools only allow public swimming twixt 6.30 and 8 am on alternate days(all other times pools are hired to skools or clubs), youth leaders cut resulting in closure of youth clubs thus increasing "Yoof" problems and a need for a greater rather than lesser police presence, 3 out of 5 public recycling centres closed down etc etc etc
Fooking Band F .... No way would I get £223k for this place
And the B@st@rds still want £1820 pa ~  cussing:

Smug Alert 2.

Council Tax in total less than 400euro a year in La Bel Paese. UK council tax covered by lodgers.

No rubbish in the streets, see a policeman twice a day, everything works. Local council employs 11 people for 2500 residents. And why ?
No 5-a-day co-ordinator, anti-smoking co-ordinator, out reach workers of any kind, and no Olympics manager. Just to start with. Only one traffic warden who is only there on market day,to keep traffic flowing.

Bins emptied Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday...

We have a free health service too although it is a bit shite....

There isn't any Care in the Community anymore is there? ...part of the cuts hey have all been re-assessed and are no longer a danger   lol:
