'Tis true I suppose that a great many things used in Star Trek have eventually come into being in real life.
Hopefully the "Teleporter" will not. Somehow I don't fancy Nick or Uncle Mort beaming down into my bathroom unannounced.
Miss's D and C would be most welcome however.


As for watching Star Trek ~ frankly I went off it when the bald one took over as Captain. I liked the old shaky sets and the actors rushing from side to side of the set to simulate a crash/explosion etc. Once they got the effects sorted (modernised) and Patrick Whotsit came on the scene it didn't seem the same........ Or maybe I just outgrew it.

I did quite fancy


But then she went and grew up old too
