I have replaced my lost copy of Peter Ackroyd's excellent London: The Biography and also purchased on impulse Keith Richards' autobiography (which prolly contains a lot of blank pages).

I thought that  too ....on the back cover  "believe it or not ..I haven't forgotten any of it ,,"     eeek:

I have Ackroyd's book ~ do you want to know how that ends too?  whistle:
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

The blank pages in Keef's book are designed to be torn out and rolled into little tubes.

Oh well, I started talking about the cricket in here, so I'll continue here. Aussies are 149 for 5 in their 2nd innings and are just 265 runs behind Englands 1st innings score. Can they do it?  happy001 happy001 happy001 happy001 happy001 happy001 happy001 happy001 happy001 happy001

Short and wide from Anderson, and Smith punishes him with a flashing square cut for four. But the youngster drags the next ball onto his stumps! (A perfect commentator's curse from Michael Vaughan, who had just praised his batting).

I used to enjoy watching motocross on the telly on a Saturday - you could almost guarantee that as soon as the commentator said "he's in perfect control" the car would crash and roll over...  ;D

Being "Murray'ed"

Seems to happen everytime I say, "the roads are quiet today", within five minutes, queue  cussing:

Anyway, 169 for six at close, 246 in front. It would be nice to see it completed before lunch

I was taken to Lydden Circuit once (about a 400 mile round trip) in an Austin Cambridge that had been purchased for £12, he sold it the next day for £15.  ;D

Ah. A design fault. Does it have an button marked "Press this if you are an idiot"?  angel1

I dunno. The possibility is that i am to much of an idiot to find said button.

Right. I can now werk it. I found an Stephen King e-book (or e-novella in this case)  on my hard drive wot I downloaded years ago and never read.

I find I like using it and it is comfortable to read for long periods though It will never replace real books etc etc.

I am now browsing piratebay Amazon withy my debit card at the ready like.
