I've been buying Baron d'Arignac at about €3.50 and picked up a load of Australian Cabernet and Californian Ruby Carbernet at Lidl last week for €2.99...  cloud9:

Anybody that thinks wine needs to cost a certain price before it is drinkable is a c**t in my humble opinion....

I was gonna stop drinking wine like...went to Tesco yesterday and it was buy six bottles and get 25% off...Couldn't resist. Bought six one litre cartons, works out at £2.50 a litre. will deffo give up next week, honest

(Yes BM , I know its only 99c a litre in Cyprus, and the village wine is even cheaper, but hey, this is in Engerland...)

I can't drink the cheap stuff any more....  noooo:

I'm not sure where I am - but I'm rapidly getting pissed at the rate of €1.20 a litre. It's not knock-out stuff, but I reckon €2.50 will see me fine tonight.

I'm about to post on various threads - if I make no sense, at least you know that I came cheaply.  whistle:

I'm drinking some €5 Cypriot stuff from the local supermarket but it isn't a patch on the Californian €2.99 stuff from Lidl...  noooo:
