Same reason I back horses I expect. My selections never win but there is a thrill in watching it race I suppose.  confused:


Slow horses and fast wimmin .... the money I'd have if I had never met either.  noooo:
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I back horses but hardly ever watch races. The idea is to look at the odds, study form, read reports, tipsters etc. and have a 'guestimate' at the winner. Some horses ain't gonna win, others are dead certs ~ most of the time. At least you get a feeling that some personal skill was involved.

The lottery is pure chance. The only pleasure is having the win. And if you don't even want that, where's the point?

They should put a box on lottery tickets that says "If I win please send all the money to Mr Nick"
