The Discovery Channel are advertising a show about James Cracknell and his journey across The States an a bike.

As you know it ended up with him being nearly killed after being hit by a vehicle.

Part of the trailer for the show points out that if you enter their competition you could win a bicycle from Halfords.  rubschin:

Just what you need to win after seeing him on a life support machine.  ::)

It was fairly awful what happened to him but tbh he seems intent on doing himself some serious injury at some point in his life.

I believe his ' adventures' are much more to do with ego than 'the greater good' . I have met him years ago ( see previous rowing history) and he was a jumped up , self obsessed prick then .  His fame and fortune have not helped  noooo:
