we have relatives in Vancouver and they tell us that they often have bears rooting around their bins in the back yard.

I know I'm a bit of a sadist, and I don't wish to be cruel...much....but you just know there is going to be an incident of some sort. clock:

You mean somewhere in Canada there will be a bear cave with a Nickskin rug?  eeek:

With his 'ed on a plaque nailed to the cave wall. eveilgrin:

You are forgetting the curse of Nick Growler old boy, nail his head to a plaque on the wall and the cave will collapse  point:

I had a very unfortunate misunderstanding this afternoon in Chinatown. I asked for a beard trim, perhaps forgetting that beards are uncommon in the Chinese community. The guy prodcued a cut throat razor. I said that that wasn't quite what I had in mind and he started shouting eeek:

I then left, not too hastily, and got shouted at again, this time by a tiny old Chinese lady, for putting some rubbish in a bin she was standing next to. A passer by pointed out that the bin was clearly marked "Used Coconuts Only"

WTF is that all about? confused:

I know they are keen on recycling hereabouts, but specials bins for "Used Coconuts"?

I think it was a problem of a linguistic kind on the subtle shave/trim boundary.

And I am sad that no one has asked me about my astounding discovery in the NOrth Wing yet. cry:
