Shoe laces

 Leather shoe laces as supplied with so called "leisure deck shoes"(that term almost contravienes the trade description act) . How the feck do you keep 'em done up ??. Don't matter whether you use a double knot complete with bow and yank on 'em with a pair of mole grips they still come undone.

Bin the laces and use velcro as all old codgers do.

True though Roy. Had a pair of 'velcro ups' about 20 years ago, until someone pointed out what age band they were meant for. 
Hope they found a new home in Africa.
