Space question for UM

How big is the known universe then IYO, and just how small would earth be on the earth, if you get my drift, if the earth was the universe.
Size of a football pitch, a football, a tennis ball, grain of sand, pin head, molecule?

I believe there are more stars than grains of sand on the planet, apparently. confused:
Who counted all this?

Some estimate about 150 billion light years, others infinite.  shrugs:

If the universe was the size of the Earth the earth would probably be smaller than a "planck length" (which is a LOT, LOT smaller than an atom.

The Planck length is the scale at which classical ideas about gravity and space-time cease to be valid, and quantum effects dominate. This is the ?quantum of length?, the smallest measurement of length with any meaning.

And roughly equal to 1.6 x 10-35 m or about 10-20 times the size of a proton.

So. What is it expanding into?

The only thing I can think of that has no ending is a circle, so does that mean the universe is a sort of circle then?
