Temp. loss of memory.
« on: May 24, 2010, 05:32:33 PM »
Should be glad I suppose, but mid morning today, I appeared to lose my memory for about 15 minutes. eeek:
Just stared blankly at papers, phone numbers and my diary, with a most disturbing lack of being able to comprehend what was actually before me. confused:

It all passed thankfully, and I feel fine, but wtf was THAT all about ey? Shrugs:

I have those ~ the family call them "Dad's CRAFT Moments"

Can't
Remember
A
Fvcking
Thing

I admit they often happen when someone is after money that I allegedly promised.

No I'm not taking the piss ~ I do get times like that ~ the doctors tell me they are connected to the shocks I have received from my defibrillator ~ apparently such shocks are thought, by some, to fuck up the short term memory. At first I was worried it might be the onset of dementia .... which is what killed my dad when he was only 7 years older than I am now.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I haven't actually been defibrilated lately tbh Snoop, so can't blame that.

Dimensia setting in? Who knows.

Some say I lost me marbles years ago.
As long as all my bad memories get wiped out along with all the current day to day stuff, it'll actually be quite a welcome relief in some ways tbh.
P'raps I'll start walking around with a permanent stupid grin on me face and not giving a flying duck about anything anymore.

And on the subject of brain defects my sister reports that she was worried her phone was out of order until she realised she was trying to make a call using her TV remote control  noooo:
