An epidemic?

Out of the blue last night I got an e mail from an old school friend. We once accidentally set a golf course on fire, but that was a long long time ago  redface:

Anyhoo he reported that his wife (of 30 years) "had suddenly decided she didn't want to be married anymore" (kids grown up and gone) and he now rents a flat in Gloucester Docks having lost his house  noooo:

Oddly I was in Gloucester Docks last week  rubschin:

With 2 exceptions I know no one of my age, I realise, who is not divorced. Maybe I move in the wrong circles   rubschin:

My first lasted from 1966 to 1986 (87 for divorce absolute).
My second started in 1988 and is staggering on ..... but if it were not for the boys ... who knows?

I managed 5 years  before that, 75-80.

Remarried 6 weeks after divorce.
Made the families panic a bit.
