Rusty discs

It must have pi$$ed it down in the last month 
I'd left the car covered while away, took it out on Sunday only to hear a dreadful rumbling coming from the offside front wheel. I thought it was going to fall off or summat 

RAC man came out (that's what you pay for, innit) and took the wheel off to find rust build up on the disc 
After a careful bit of jacked up slow revving he declared it fit for purpose 

Never had that happen before; anyone else?

Mine too. Drive and brake very hard on a decent run. All solved

Load of bollox.

Quite normal for the scraping rumbling grinding noise after it's bot been used for a day or two, especially if it's rained or the car's been washed.

Monster motoring top tip from Growler.

Every few days, slow down from highish speed using your handbrake simultaneously (NOT FULL ON) with the foot brake. Stops a build up of rust on the rear discs that don't actually get that much use unless the car is heavily laden.

I think that is refering to them sticking whilst trying to remove them.
Quite common
Copper grease smeared on the hub generally prevents this.

If they haven't been greased though, loosen the wheel a couple of turns whilst OFF the jack, then drive it forwards and backwards a few feet, get out and rock the car side to side.

If all that fails...and it can sometimes, do as JC always does. Resort to a hammer!
