BARMAN IS UNWELL
« on: July 05, 2007, 02:29:39 PM »
Dear All

This is Mrs. Barman here (yes I do exist  lol:) posting to let you all know that unfortunately your much loved (???) Barman will be off line for probably the next week as I have this morning had to take him to see his own Dr. Who (real name Dr. Costas) because his nasty chest infection is getting worse!
Due to him (Barman that is) now being totally exhausted and run down with hack hack hacking for the past week (and him a non smoker too!) and the mega antibiotics having now affect he was admitted to our nice local hospital and is now hooked up to his own intravenous drugs.....

Hopefully he will make a smooth recovery now and who knows enger a new man (ha ha)

Sadly the hospital doesn't have Internet access (so he'll have to go cold turkey from his daily pub fix  sad24:) but I'm sure you will all make sure that everything runs smoothly in his absence...

If I can work out hos this pub posting thing works (duh I am slightly blond  scared2:) I will give regular updates
So for now
Bye Bye from
Mrs. Barman  razz:

Any chance we could smuggle in a firkin of Bishops Finger for him? Do him a sight more good than a bunch of grapes will.

GWS Barman - the place isn't the same without you!

Well, someone had to say it!

Thank you Mrs Barman for letting us know what has happened to poor old Barman...   sad24:

We probably wouldn't have noticed for a week or two...  point:

Um... how much of these forum archives have you read... Exactly?      scared2:

Should I send a nice kitten for him to cuddle and stroke?

oh....  And can I have (what's left of) his homebrew please?   whistle:

You don't think that perhaps the home brew had something to do with it?  eeek:

Given its apparent volcanic qualities I'd suspect it would be more likely to kill whatever he has picked up Wenchy  eyes:

I'm not sure how well Mrs Barman navigates this site. She actually posted this in the Doctor Who thread (which was at the time the one that came up first) I moved it and made it a sticky.
Hopefully by doing so she will find it easy to locate, read and pass onto the old boy.
As for her "Bit of a blonde" statement ..... somehow I very much doubt it.
Hair colour maybe but she sure knew how to throw those emoticons around.

Awwwwwww?. Bless!     . So it is true, he will do anything to get a bit of  . . When he finally feels a bit better, and starts getting internet withdrawal symptoms , please pass on best wishes along with a few virtual , from the Galore household as well.

It says in my copy of the Cyprus hospital that patients are not allowed to . Please remind him that we all   and that he should
