 surrender:

Off early to Dover Castle (worth seeing once), then to Folkestone for excellent afternoon tea, then to Ashford Outlet centre (£££) cos it's on the way back, then to Tescos cos it's also on the way back and finally home to very impatient cats.

And a quick look at France too (looked better through the binoculars)

Decided to take a taxi home from work so I ambled down to the rank and the drunken pondlife was on full display. 3 drunk morons who staggered up to the rank carrying enough takeaway to feed Apey for a month, all being carried by the one who was so pissed she could barely walk in a straight line. She then decided it would be a spiffing idea to balance the motherload of takeaway in one hand while messing around with her phone in the other. No prizes for guessing what happened next, most of the leaning tower of takeaway turned into a scattered mess on the ground. So she then started bellowing like an enraged foul mouthed orangutang yelling for her friends to come and sort out the mess even though they were trying to ring for a taxi. Then she realised she wasn't as close to the front of the queue as she thought and started a foul mouthed tirade about people pushing in despite the fact they had been in the queue before she graced us all with her presence (not that I'm being sarcastic in any way shape or form here) even though one of the people ahead of her was using crutches they weren't safe from her ranting. Eventually (it may have not been long but it felt like a bleedin' age for the rest of us) a taxi turned up and they headed off. I really delt sorry for the driver.

And people ask me why I tend not to go out for drinks in a student town  noooo:
I do not have ducks. I do not have a row. I have squirrels and they are all at a rave.
