Won't ever get 12kw as when one side is at peak the other won't be.  Their proposal says in best month we'll get 44kwh a day but we'll see.

The real key is how much in December, they say we should get 9.8kwh which is well enough to keep things going.  The other test is how often can it deliver the 7.5kW so we can charge the car plus run the house.  If it can't then we have to buy some.  So hoping with panels and battery we can do that 6 months a year.

Will update when it's running

Mine peaks about 4kW but a nice smoothe spread between the various panels over the day...

Your best thing is going to be the angle and duration of the sun in Smugland in winter.   Got to be ~15o and several hours better.  And then there's that we have tall trees near us.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Same electrician had left two breaks in the ring circuit earth that we got found and fixed last year.  Can't find out if he's still electricering, hopefully not.

Possible but more likely dementia.  The other worry is how many other houses did he miswire?

Meantime the big solar install is going to continue into day 4 on Monday.  They've worked their guts out today in that heat and sun but it's a bastard install pattern to get round various pipes etc in our roof.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Work was dead so I finished ridiculously early. On the bright side it meant I could catch those glorious nutters, the Falmouth Marine Band  cloud9:
