Many years ago I was offered a job teaching at the University of Casablanca. At the interview I suggested some literary texts that might be better than the ones they were teaching.

I was told that any change to a university course had to be approved by the King!!!

So, I've been in this property thing for months now, feels like forever...

So much stuff to do, tax clearances, proof of residence and gawd knows what. Selling three properties to buy one you'd think there might be some economy of scale but no, three tax clearances are needed... ::)

The last hurdle is The Council of Ministers Approval... You need The Council of Ministers Approval to buy a property so both we and our buyers need it.

I've long suspected that The Council of Ministers is one bloke in a dingy office with a rubber stamp...

...it turns out that it is one woman in a dingy office with a rubber stamp - and she is off sick at the moment.

So no property sales on the island until she comes back off the sick - we just have to wait... facepalm:

Downham

The 2nd Lord Clitheroe does not allow overhead electricity lines, aerials or satellite dishes, making the village a popular location for filming period dramas.[5] Downham was one of the locations used in the 1961 film Whistle Down the Wind, and the BBC One series Born and Bred, set in the fictional village of Ormston, was also filmed in the village.[6] The 2012 BBC drama The Secret of Crickley Hall was also filmed in and around Downham.[7]
I bet it doesn't make him popular
Well, whatever, nevermind

If you listen closely you can hear the sounds of people in the area frantically covering their swimming pools  whistle:
