Which bit?   The Dutch bit or the grotty half?

Start in Bruges for a few days then head off to Ieper for WW1 stuff...
so the Dutch for Ypres and the French for Brugge  rubschin:  Weirdly we all get it confused, I blame the French.

Flanders is (imho) one of the best bits of Europe, hope you enjoy it.

Been before a couple of times but taking Miss A who has always wanted to visit...

...problem is (now I have all the books out on my desk) there is just so much to see....  rubschin:
:thumbsup: If you go to Ghent (why not, historical city) and go for a short walk near the South shopping centre (as you do) perhaps not wander with LL down Schepenenvijverstraat as a short cut.  It's full of knocking shops.
