Pulling my hair out.
Had two appointments at the quacks today one with the nurse and one with the GP. Fine logged in on the logging in computer thingy. Saw the nurse in a timely manner. Came out sat and waited a while finally went and tried to log in again only for the wretched machine to tell me to go to reception. Stood in a line and finally got to receptionist who told me that I didn't have an appointment with the quack today but that I do tomorrow.

I gently explained that I did have an appointment with a doctor today and that I also have an appointment tomorrow. He then put a note on his computer to the doctor. five minutes later the doctor called me in apologising, I had been in with the nurse when he had tried to call me in.

Excellent consultation at the end of which he told me to swing by reception and make an appointment to have more blood taken.

I stood in the queue and finally was in front of the receptionist. There were no free appointments for tomorrow but there was one at 1405 hrs today. The time was then 1145 hrs.
I ambled across the road to a small precinct that has several shops, Co-op (mad axe man went in there last week attacking the staff and a female police officer leaving her with a fractured scull and only seven fingers) pawn shop, Heron foods, the library and a charity shop.
I thought that I would go and sit in the comfy chairs in a the library and read. The library was closed.

I thought I would go to the charity shop buy a book and sit on a bench and read. Bought myself a book, sat on the bench and five minutes later it was hailing.

I went into the pawn shop and bought myself a puter and a Kindle.
I went in the Coop and bought some food.
I went back to the surgery thinking that I could sit and read there. It was 1245 hrs when I logged in. I picked up a couple of leaflets, was scrabbling around looking for my phone and trying to drag the book out of a bag when I was called in. The phlebotomist a lovely lady, said that had I told reception that I was waiting she could have seen me at midday.
I have to be back there tomorrow morning.

Still at least me pustules are drying up I was beginning to get fed up with the whole Baldrick look.
