Having a well earned beer prior to getting the train home.  Yet again, shortly after I arrive they dim the lights which leads me to the inevitable conclusion that I am ugly as sin :(

He's fine but busy.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-26566043

An area of Nottingham has been sealed off as armed police deal with an incident.

Officers were called to a snooker club in Vine Terrace, Hucknall, at about 14:40 GMT following reports of a man acting suspiciously.

Vine Terrace and High Street are closed.

The force is arranging for pupils at nearby Beardall Street Primary School to be collected by parents. Police are asking people to avoid the area.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

In Henley, weather is perfect, having a lovely time, thinking that I could return for good until..... I tried to buy 2 bottles of night nurse and a packet of beechams all in tablets in one go at Boots and was refused, then I remembered why I left in the first place. Ironic as the builder next door offered me a joint this morning, wish I'd taken him up on the offer now, good job it wasn't night nurse
