Having a well deserved pint at London Bridge,  having fought my way through the crowds of tourists on Tower Bridge.  God knows what it will be like in summer. ..

Good chap.  Thumbs:

Thumbs:  is it going well ....... rubschin:

Like all new jobs, there's so much to learn that my brain is frazzled.  But it's going well.  Most of the people are IT developers and most of them have limited social skills, like BM, so my sense of humour tends to result in blank expressions and awkward silences.

A few days ago both front wiper blades on the car decided to give up the ghost within hours of each other. Filaments of rubber flapping away ineffectively, you know the score  ;) . Putting aside the strangeness that both should die at the same time I ventured to an garage where, supposedly they sell such items pertaining to the maintenance of vehicles ... oh noes... Everything BUT was on offer, snacks, booze, confectionery, household items, buckets & spades, prophylactics & batteries.  ::)

Anyway, quick change of tactics and Shamazon.co.uk provided the necessary within 48 hours, ordered, delivered and fitted, job done
