I was at the food palace at stupid time this morning.  Then home to make brownies which are part of dessert tonight.  Then the gf of the Eldest and me went to a county pub for cider and folkmusic.  The eldest handed us mulled wine on our return home.

That sounds like a lovely day Tipsy....................hope tomorrow is even better!

So after years and years of effort they still can't stop the R. Mole from flooding and causing problems. I've fished the river for years and watched the stupid so-called flood prevention schemes put in place and been amazed at how much money could be spent on things that obviously would not work.
I hope someone is called to account for this mess but I doubt it will ever happen.
As for Edenbridge and Cuckfield, what are the DEFRA doing?

It will be the same as what happens in Cornwall Tel, 'lessons will be learned' and then a load of cash will be ploughed into flood defence projects that look as if they will so something but will have bugger all real effect.
The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.
