I've been off to Pafos to have me eyes checked - two as normal!  Thumbs:

Serious mode. on.
I was in discussion with a Senior Eye Doctor yesterday regarding the use of a supplement, advertised in a magazine, for AMD and was expecting the opinion to be negative but it was the opposite.  The advice was qualified with 'but if you eat spinach, kale, broccoli, carrots and sweetcorn though they should supply enough nutrients to get the same effect'.  So if you are experiencing a particular condition and have a Eye Consultation with an Eye Doctor its a good idea to ask if there is anything else you can do to support whatever treatment/advice is offered.

Serious mode off.
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

I think 'carrots are good for eyes' is a well established folk-truth.

My mother also insisted broccoli was good for eyesight.
I mostly despair

I did say to him 'so everything your Mum told you to eat you should'!   He didn't mention turnips though.   ;D
