The Eldest wanted a cheque to pay for the Solicitors fee dealing with a house purchase.  I offer to write one as he doesn't have a cheque book.....     an hour and half of filling forms for life insurance and solicitors instructions.  Why do I always have to fill the forms in?   evil:

fingers crossed for you. Its bad times for everyone at the moment. Many of my friends who were established and been here for years have gone back to UK. Hope you hang in there til things improve. If not, we can all move in with BM, plenty of room.  Thumbs:
