Writing a few Chrissy cards and generally lying about - oh, and hoping (against hope) that Tottenham can turn over United later

Awaits Steve........ eeek:
We do have a Premiership thread

Anyway Miss A is clearly not a true Gooner.
Perfect result for us Gooners, well done both sides
4 goals, no sendings off, no managers fighting with officials, no season ending injuries, no racist chanting resulting in ground closure, no obscene gestures observed from United's coach leading to massive fines and sponsors cancelling contracts

 rubschin:
Well, whatever, nevermind

. . . Meaning?
Meaning it wasn't perfect for a true Gooner was it

I assume you've read Fever Pitch.  Gooner Nick Hornby describes his perfect match there.  IIRC it has to include a blatantly unfair penalty with the opponent trudging distressed from the ground having been unfairly sent off
Well, whatever, nevermind

That might be Nick Hornby's interpretation, my interpretation is anything that stops Spurs, Manu, Chelsea et al from getting 3 points.
