When food doesn't look right

I have just made some satay sauce. It needed to have a quantity of soya sauce in it.  I used dark soya sauce.  The finished product tastes rather nice, however, it looks like chocolate sauce. I am not sure that I will be able to bring myself to eat chicken dipped in chocolate sauce. noooo:
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

In the asian aisle at Tesco they do v. large bottles of soya sauce, chilli dip, sweet chilli dip etc for between ?1 & ?2. works out much much cheaper than buying the small bottles.
Anyhoo a little of the sweet chilli dip mixed with some peanut butter makes a brilliant
satay sauce in a trice.
I couldn't ask for better friends. I could ask for more NORMAL friends, but not better ones.

I will foil you all, not in the aluminum sense of the word you understand that would just be a minor perversion, I will present the Satay as chocolate sauce I look forward to seeing the look on your faces when you bite into the profiteroles and the wonderful fully flavored vanilla ice cream with a dash of brown 'stuff'  Heston Blumenthal move over! eveilgrin:
