I discovered an amazing feature today!

Say (hypothetically) that you had been stupid enough to delete a complete directory of files and didn't have a back-up... not that it would ever happen to me like....

But just suppose you did for a moment...

In Windows 7 you can open Windows Explorer ( [Windows] + [E]) then select the directory from which you had (hypothetically) deleted years of data like...

The you right-click on the directory and select 'Restore Previous versions'....
You discover that Windows has magically been creating backups of your data every time it does an update and creates a 'Restore Point'... gawd knows where it keeps it all...

You can then simply navigate through the directory structure to fine the directory that you (hypothetically) deleted and drag it back to your desktop!
