Stuck for some emergncy reading matter on Friday I found a junk shop with books in
mac macyn Wales and stumbled upon his Hype and Glory.
I had vaguely heard of him. He wrote the screenplays for Butch Cassidy and All the President's Men (amongst other things).
This is his marvellously written and very very funny account of judging, in the same year:
