In the 60's and 70's, 'The Archers' tried to be accurate and up to date about regulations, diseases, changing crops etc.

It was rubbish despite that and the theme tune can still modulate my colon today.

As far as I can tell, the program has now degenerated to Eastenders without the city.
I mostly despair
