A bit of sun and a lack of shirt
« on: July 12, 2009, 02:30:57 PM »
So it has been quite a nice day weather wise today so far - the grey clouds are clumping together as we speak tho - but it is not tropical by any means. It is not balmy . It is not scorchio.

I have been down the shops today and seen 2 men wearing no clothes on their upper body  - and as I was cutting the grass a moment ago the head of the Polish builders household came out just wearing his jeans and nothing up top  noooo:

If we were near a beach  or on holiday then it may be more acceptable - tho not strutting round town, and I do stress may ( depending very much on the owner of course  whistle:)

However as a general rule this should be an absolute no no  noooo: noooo: noooo:

Nearly put me off my Daniel Craig ice lolly  lol:

What is acceptable on the beach is not, IMHO acceptable in shops, bars or on the street.

When I had a pub any male entering without a shirt would be offered the option, put on a shirt (we had a supply of beer advertising tee shirts under the bar for those who had no shirt with them) or leave the pub. No question. I applied the same rule to those in "vests". Nobody wants your sweaty, hairy armpit draped over their drink as you reach over the bar. One woman tried to argue that it was her husband's "right" to come into a public house without a shirt. I invited her to join him in going topless or leave. They left!

The more serious point to all this was that we served food and in any event food handling rules apply to serving drink to the public just as much as serving a meal.

I also have a personal dislike of "French" armpits on wimmin and men. I just don't want to see them.

Agreed.  Topless men generally not nice, topless tattooed men worse, topless tattooed lobster red men worser, overweight tattooed topless lobster red men even worserer.  Don't even get me started overweight tattooed women in tight clothes. sick2:  I might have to go and lie down for a while.

Exactly Miss C.
Expect to see these on the beach and am prepared for it. I have a choice there. Either put up with it or leave but I do not need to have it thrust in my face at every street corner and particularly in food shops and pubs.

Agreed - and topless men who wobble their bellies , or paint faces around their belly button  - thinking this is either attractive or humorous should be plucked to death  evil:

That is not attractive.  noooo: Possibly offensive.

Pastis I have no intention of making myself ill by photographing overweight people of either sex, please go and wash your mouth out with a wire brush and Dettol.  I will not now share with you my rather wonderful recipe for roasted grapes with herb lashed sausages.
