Splinters
« on: May 21, 2009, 02:11:16 PM »
Ouch....

I have just been dismantling an old picture frame - for that read smashing it to bits  - but the bastard thing has taken it's own revenge and pierced me in the thumb.

I have taken the tweezers to it but have only managed to dislodge the bit that was sticking out the surface ....without picking the skin around it is there and easier way to get it out or will I die  sad24:

Soak afflicted digit in HOT water. It might raise the splinter enough to have another grab at it with the tweezers.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
