I have been trawling the shops this morning looking for a birthday present for my mum - she refuses to help me out in this process and give me an idea of what she wants

However going past M & S there is a massive queue , complete with security guards and their best walkie talkie sets , store assistants with their newly polished name badges on etc. Apparently to celebrate their 125 year anniversary they are selling for 3 days 20 products for 1p.
These apparently include
    * Jewellery sets
    * Scarves
    * Purses
    * Knickers
    * Cufflinks
    * Ties
    * Socks
    * Leather passport holders
    * Leather luggage tags
    * Tea towels
    * Mugs
    * Bags of retro sweets
    * Cans of retro drink
    * Beach toys
    * Beach balls
These muppets were waiting for ages in a queue...passing down a line and being given anonymous bags with a little something in ( they were only allowed 5 max) for their pennies.
This is surely a way for M & S to offload some of their unwanted useless stock and get great PR for them in the process. As for the muppets in the queue - they were getting a 'bargain'. Stuff they hadn't wanted until they saw a queue , joined it and then bleated all the way to the till point whilst wasting over an hour of your day.

 All for the sake if a bargain
