It's a ploy by the utility companies to make you stay at home longer and use more gas and leccy just before they reduce the bills - ever so slightly .

But hey it's a day at home whatever the circumstances  lol:

I have almost 1000 litres of heating oil and a shed full of logs. The snowed in world can kiss my ****.

Sounds like Surrey's closed. M25 closed J/tions 8 to 10, A23 closed, A22 closed, M23 closed

Met Office don't exactly help, at 0438hr's they said, "There is a Moderate Risk of an Extreme weather event affecting parts of southeast England, including parts of London during Monday."

It was already 3" deep

I'm in work. Already had three ring in to say they're snowed in. wimps!

Usual advice, "don't travel unless your journery is absolutely necessary"  ::)

...and if you REALLY must, don't forget to carry emergency supllies, including a box of Mars bar, flask of tea, plently of blankets, and a shovel.
