People who really annoy

To the point where I want to punch them.
There is no logic to this and they are usually people I have never met. For example:
I have an unreasoned hatred for Bill Gates. He comes across as the Geek's Geek with those stupid specs and preppy High School American accent and manner of speech. It isn't envy of his money, it isn't that he has done me any personal wrong and without him I probably would not be sitting here typing this so why, whenever I see his face on TV or hear his name, do I have this urge to do him physical harm?
Another one is Steve McClaren, currently England's Football Manager (or Head Coach as they now like to call them). Is it that silly 1950s hairstyle with the little Brylcreem Quiff at the front? Is it the stupid decisions he makes, his accent, the daft smirk he adopts for the camera or perhap something else about him?

What is it about some people that I take such an instant and overwhelming dislike to?

It isn't really an instant dislike, you've seen them, picked up on their mannerisms and attitude and then taken a dislike to them.
