I'm possibly the only one that remembers this but More magazine used to have a feature called position of the fortnight. Some girl left hers on the train a few weeks ago and I was flicking through it and they've started repeating them!

So was my Dad. We couldn't really get them in Spain so my cousin used to send them to me. All mail was opened and vetted after that.  noooo:

Yes I saw that ~ and I have two daughters ... One is 38 and the other 15.

My take has always been that it is not knowledge that will get them into "trouble" but the lack of it. Add to that the fact that I cannot control what they learn at school, on the bus or behind the bike sheds, I can only make them aware of the potential damage they may do to themselves and their future lives in the process.

There is a big difference between sexual knowledge in a protective sense and position of the fortnight though!
