Might work, everyone is aware (or should be) of online/text scams so this would be unexpected. That is assuming BM has been above board with his tax dealings.  ;)

My tax is simples but I have an accountant to do the annual returns... I'm sure she is on top of it and there will be nothing to pay...

Cyprus is a bit behind (but catching up rapidly), the €7,500 charge is for 2018...
