I asked the kitchen staff and was told "Wait and see"

That is Essex speak for "I haven't a f*cking clue but I'll think of something"

That reminds me of "Wait 'n' see pudding" ... a childhood memory. How come it was always different?  rubschin:

My Father's reply was always the same "Shit with sugar on ~ now bugger off until your Mother calls you" ~ Times were different in the 50s

We are, it seems having just crept into the kitchen and peeked whilst SWWLTBO had her back turned, having Steak n Kidney Pud with chips and baked beans. Apart from the THW who has now gone vegetarian on us and who is allergic to tomato sauce anyway ~ she is getting a mushroom omelet and her mother's fervent wish that it "Bloody chokes the silly little **%%**!!"  whistle:

To show solidarity with his principles ~ the truth is that he one of those unfortunates who cannot digest animal protein (there are apparently such people about) ~ ie there are no principles involved.
Anywhoo we'll see who gets tired first. Us of cooking omelets or her of eating them. whistle:
