Watching Mary Poppins Returns...  redface:

Terrible...  noooo:

You bravely gave your time so we didn't have to suffer

Precisely!

It was awful...  noooo:

But how can it get reviews like this:

And this...?

It was a shocker...  noooo:
So it was on Sky so we just watched it being too bone idle to try for better.  Well I say 'watched' most of the time she was on her iPad and me the PC with occasional breaks to go get more collapso.  It takes a special ability to get a truly brilliant performance like that by Emily Blunt and still produce an utter mess like that D- film.  You were too kind in your review

Welcome to the 'wonderful' world of Disney. A land of rushed reboots, poor quality sequels and cash grab live action remakes in the frantic single minded quest to make quick money after spending an absolute fortune to acquire the Star Wars licence, Marvel and 20th Century Fox.  noooo:
The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

Just watched A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood... worthy:

Sensational doesn't really cover it... Hanks and Rhys are incredible!  eeek:

Quote from: IMDB
A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood is a superb film and one of the most wonderful movie going experiences of my life. Mr. Tom Hanks gives what is nothing less than the performance of a lifetime. Simply incredible. Subtly and with artistry and sensitivity Mr. Hanks becomes Fred Rogers and it's as if the actor himself disappears. Beautifully written and wonderfully directed, this is a motion picture that will live in the hearts of audiences for generations to come. Tom Hanks will rip your heart out and return it to you filled with love and understanding. This is an historic acting accomplishment in a film that will become an instant classic.

We are supposed to be getting it sometime soon so will add it to the watch list.

Think I'll wait for it to come on Sky.  I remember those races almost like they were yesterday and Caroll Shelby was such a great I think I'd hate to see him portrayed by a mere actor
Well, whatever, nevermind
