Just had a staff screening of Labyrinth at work, God that took me back. This strange Muppets/Alice in Pythonland (it was written by Terry Jones) cross has Jennifer Connelly's character wishing her younger brother into the clutches of David Bowie's Goblin King and she only has scant hours to rescue him from the castle at the end of the Labyrinth. It's a kid's film, so don't expect huge amounts of suspense and thrills but it is still an enjoyable piece of fantasy fun and you can see just how much Bowie was enjoying himself through the film. The songs Bowie wrote may not be to everyone's taste but they fit in well with the film.

The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.
