Just finished listening to the Audible dramatisation of the William Gibson screenplay for Alien 3. All I have to say is why the hell didn't Fox use this for the film instead of choosing that godawful mess they ended up with instead.

Instead they went ahead and greenlit a film so bad that the director has publicly tried to remove himself from it afterwards.

I went to see it at the cinema for that scene - I was supposed to be watching a girlfriend in a stage show at the time...  redface:
