  • I have a keen sense of stupidity!
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Finally got around to watching Battleship and it isn't as bad a film as I was expecting, having said that I'd already seen the Asylum Studios knock off version (I blame insomnia). The plot is the pretty much bog standard screwup brother comes into his own during alien invasion cliche although the scene where he is trying to woo the woman with a burrito scene did strike me as something that Nick would have done.  whistle: The tie in to the board game is cleverly done and I suspect that younger kids won't have realised it when it was happening.

While not at the top of my recent film list (Dredd 3D), its something I'd probably watch again.

50 Sheds of Grey (only 20p for Kindle app on PC) The spoof of THAT book and imho funniest thing since Spamalot

Seb Coe's Autobiography.  no gratuitous sex and violence to entertain but a good read and completely changed my view of him
