Oh that'll be OK then ~ RAF Photog. Branch = bunch o tossers. I've known them drive out to an aircarft, full of bombast and swagger, fit a camera and drive off only to have forgotten to load a film in it AND then try to blame the pilot for failing to get any pictures.  censored:

Have I mentioned how awesome the day was yet?

Private coach onto Akrotiri, watched a U2 being prepared then taking off.

They had a Hercules that was dropping parachutists all day.

On the apron was a C130, a VC10, a Tornado and in the background a rather decrepit F4 Phantom.

We were invited to the briefing for the Red Arrows performance – it was amazing how much they seemed to make up as they went along. Then we were bussed to the ‘mole’ at Akrotiri to watch a private show.

After the show we were bussed back to the airport to watch them land and had a group photo taken with the pilots (to follow).

A big thanks to all the British Tax Payers out there…   whistle:
